Hi, my name is Emily, and for the last 10 years I've volunteered with the Salvation Army.  It's the holiday season again, which means we're in the midst of our Red Kettle Christmas Campaign.  I'm sure you've seen the red kettles around town, probably near some of your favorite shopping destinations.  Thanks for all of your donations and support!  The Red Kettle Christmas Campaign is traditionally the Salvation Army's biggest fundraiser of the year.

We need more than donations, though-- we need service. The Salvation Army always needs more bellringers to spread the word!  It's a great way to volunteer, and it's such a joy to see the pride and holiday spirit on people's faces when they drop a dollar in the kettle.  By becoming a bell ringer, you're helping provide food, toys, and clothing to over 6 million people during the holidays.  That's worth a few hours of your time, isn't it?
