The End… Or is it?

We here at the Silicon Valley E-Resurrection Institute believe strongly in the sanctity of computer life.  After all, computers are our most relied-upon teachers, coworkers, and entertainers—In short, computers are our friends!  Sadly, the average lifespan of today’s desktop computer encompasses only 2-3 years.  If you knew that a loved one was going to die in the next three years, wouldn’t you do all that you could to preserve that life?  Of course you would; doctors extend patients’ lives every day.  Why, then, do we not do the same for our desktop computers, the very companions that make modern life possible?  It’s because for years, extending the lifespan of our favorite computers was thought to be impossible… until now.

A New Era

The Silicon Valley E-Resurrection Institute is proud to announce the development of our patented E-xtention Method.  By utilizing the E-xtension Method, the Institute can reliably preserve the data stored inside your computer—the music, pictures, documents, and games that make your computer unique—and transfer that data on to a new machine.  No longer will an outdated power supply or a damaged motherboard spell the end for your beloved desktop.  Thanks to the E-xtension Method, your old computer’s brain can live on indefinitely.

The Persistence of Memory

The key to the E-xtension Method’s startling success is the conversion of your faithful desktop’s internal 3.5 in. hard drive into a portable external drive using the Airlink101 AEN-U35SAB Aluminum SATA HDD Enclosure.  Priced at $18.99, the AEN-U35SAB’s aluminum case can provide up to two terabytes of storage with support for both SATA I and SATA II hard drives.  Using the E-xtension Method, the Silicon Valley E-Resurrection Institute extracts your old desktop’s hard drive and implants it into an Airlink101 HDD enclosure, effectively performing a successful brain transplant on your PC.  The enclosure’s USB 2.0 interface will allow you not only to retain all of your computer’s internal memory, but to effectively install that memory into any PC or Mac with ease.  Your new external drive will be fully portable so that you may enjoy many more happy years together.

Just because your computer is dying doesn’t mean you can’t cherish its memory for generations to come.  Thanks to the Airlink 101 3.5 in. External Hard Drive Enclosure, the Silicon Valley E-Resurrection Institute has the power to grant your old computer new life!

I have built three external drives using enclosures like the one on sale here today and I highly recommend it. It's easy enough for pretty much anyone to do, and it's great to be able to carry literally all my files around with me with the ability to plug them into any computer. Basically, if you've used computers for more than three years or so, you know how valuable it can be to have backups of every byte stored on your PC.

Has anybody ever actually crammed two terabytes of data into one of these things? That's a lot of torrents.

Charming, quan. How hard is it to build your own external drive? I'm interested in buying today's deal, but I don't want to get it and find out its beyond my meager skills!!
