2.1 Channels vs. 29 Percent Interest

Do you know what I hate most about my telephone?  The fact that my credit card company has the number to it.  They like to use it, too—often.  I can see how you might think that when a credit card company doubles a guy’s interest rate and slashes his credit limit in half for no good reason that they’d have the common decency to cut him a little slack on the payments while he adjusted his budget, but I wouldn’t voice those thoughts aloud, because they’re very, very wrong.  It turns out that credit card companies can pretty much do whatever they want and you have to still have to pay what they say, and they like to remind you of that fact around 30 times per day. Over the telephone.

When the incessant ringing threatens to liquefy my eyeballs, I like to drown out the noise with my 3-Piece 2.1 Channel Multimedia Speaker System with Super Woofer.  I used to listen to iTunes through my tiny laptop speakers, but when Master Charge began their telephonic assault, the volume on those token outputs proved wholly inadequate.  As I’m in a bit of a financial bind at the moment, I was lucky to find my new 2.1 system online for only $9.99 (God bless check cards!).  Now when the credit card goons blow up my phone during dinner time, I just crank up the bass on my system’s Super Woofer until my DJ Premier playlist begins to sound like whalesong.  The ringer on my phone can’t hope to compete!

Now don’t get me wrong, my multimedia speaker system is also great for listening to podcasts on my iPhone or playing games on my PC.  These speakers work with any audio device that has a standard 3.5 mm output jack.  I might be the only one who finds them best suited to helping me ignore the demands of greedy lenders, but brother, it works for me!  Thanks to my 2.1 Channel Multimedia Speaker System, Master Charge’s collections department is on MY schedule.

At least until they figure out text messaging…

Hello everyone, I've never left any reviews here because I usually just grab me a sale item and run. I actually hardly ever see any reviews on items. BUTT for this item I had to leave a comment because I already own this item. I got it on another site for around $10 with shipping about 6 months ago and I have it hooked up to my secondary Computer. I've also hooked it up to a Portable CD player before.

1st off, its cheap. as in cheaply made, 2nd, the cords are really short, (2 foot), in order to seperate the 2 side speakers you have to split the wires as they are together until the last 10 inches. Just pull the two skinny wires apart slowly and you can split them up a little bit. The side speakers plug into the Woofer/control speaker so it has to sit on your desktop and then the 2 side speakers can only go 2 foot either way from there. 3rd, the sound out of the 2 side speakers is kinda "tin-knee". 4th, even thou the Woofer has ok sound its nothing great. The woofer is actually alot better than the side speakers which are small and only weigh about 1/4 lb. (i.e. no big magnet for power)

Even thou this is a really cheap deal, I would never use it as a main sound system. Its fine for voice audio, but don't try and jam out to your tunes with it or you will be bummed.

I guess its better than nothing, maybe for really young kids it'd be ok, but I'd look elsewhere if you have a few extra bucks to spend.

Just my 2 cents worth of friendly advice.
