Was Tiger driving under the influence?  Was he beat up by his wife? Did he have an affair?  Why hasn't he spoken to the media?  It's all a bit strange, and we're left to come to our own conclusions.

Obviously, the situation is a bit fishy.  Personally, I don't think Tiger was drunk.  What concerns me, though, is the possibility that he may have been abusing pain killers.  We all remember how Tiger won that Masters tournament on one leg.  The rich and famous have near limitless access to prescription medication, and if they get hooked on them after a major surgery or hospital stay, the easy availability of the pills can go a long way towards fostering abuse and addiction.  If Tiger has problems with pills, here's hoping he's able to get some help, because I don't want to see another Michael Jackson situation.

Of course, that's all baseless speculation.  Wow, who would have thought a few months ago that I'd seriously be comparing Tiger Woods to Michael Jackson? At least I can say with some confidence that Tiger is have aenesthesia performed on him every night at bedtime.

I'm pretty sick of hearing about it, myself. Tiger might be a philandering idiot, but in the words of Chris Rock, most men are about as faithful as their options. This is a family issue that doesn't need to be splashed all over the headlines. In the end, Kobe didn't lose his endorsements. Tiger might take a short-term hit, but he's still Tiger Woods.
