When wireless Bluetooth technology was invented, I’m certain that there was one phenomenon its creators couldn’t have forseen:  The Bluetooth headset as a fashion accessory.  You know what I’m talking about—thirtysomething professionals walking around with their futuristic-looking Bluetooth earpieces in at all times.  They aren’t driving, they aren’t working at a computer, they aren’t even on the phone.  Nothing is stopping these people from reaching in their pocket to answer their cell phones.  And yet, the earpiece remains on display, giving its wearing the same funky fashion sense as Robocop.

I see people wearing their Bluetooth earpieces like jewelry in downtown, especially.  Sometimes, those earpieces are pretty fancy and expensive-looking.  How would the JD-100 Bluetooth v1.1 Headset stack up as a fashion accessory?  Not terribly well, I’m afraid; its design prizes function and affordability over sleek lines.  But as the Buyers HQ deal of the day?  At only $9.99, I’d say it stacks up famously.  Just don’t wear it when you’re not using the phone.  That looks dumb.
