Thanks to the unique physics and abilities of the Wii remote and fun attachments like the 3-in-1 Sports Kit for Nintendo Wii, sports games are becoming more and more like true athletic simulations.  When I got my first Nintendo, I remember vividly how little games like Ice Hockey and RBI Baseball resembled playing the actual sport.  Now when I play video game baseball, I’m actually swinging a bat!

How far will these simulations go?  Will it be possible to one day roleplay Tiger Woods’ entire life, for example?  In the early levels, you could learn the game from Earl Woods, dominate the junior tournaments, and rise to stardom.  Perhaps players could make decisions in the game that Tiger never did, such as forego marriage to a Swedish model in order to continue playing the field without guilt.

Come to think of it, that kind of game might require a whole new set of attachments.
