Have you fully completed the high-def transition? Are all of your televisions HD flatscreens? Do you subscribe to all of the HD cable channels? Have you traded in your DVDs in favor of BluRay?
If you’ve managed to make the full conversion to high-definition home entertainment, please accept my congratulations, moneybags! How much did all that set you back? A big, quality HDTV still typically costs over $1,000, and when you add in the cable subscription, BluRay player, HD movie collection, and assorted HDMI cables, you’re looking at a pretty significant investment. Is richer audio/visual quality across the board worth the money and hassle? You’d have to ask someone with more cash to burn than me, my friend.
That’s why, as a bargain hunter extraordinaire, it’s so refreshing to see the Mitsuba HDC-55 Portable HD Camcorder offer up HD quality for such a reasonable price. I think we all enjoy the improved sound and picture afforded by HD technology, but we shouldn’t have to go into debt to pay for it. Now, for under $120, we can shoot our own HD videos to play back in the proper resolution on our absurdly expensive televisions.
Thank you, Mitsuba, for offering the most affordable piece of HD technology I’ve seen since I got my dad a pair of those HD Vision sunglasses for Father’s Day.
