The ancient Samurai lived by the code of Bushido, a rigid system of conduct that governed not only morality and combat, but familial duties, social order, and even personal grooming. I don’t think that anyone has ever accused Wii fanatics of finding honor in personal grooming, but maybe it’s time we added a few moral restrictions on the use of the Wii. Frankly, online gaming with the console is a bit like navigating the Wild West.
Here are a few formal rules of conduct I can think of off the top of my head:
-Men may not fight women or children in Wii boxing. This is ungentlemanly.
-Any warrior who has not completed The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess may not carry his Wiimote in public.
-Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 shall be henceforth known as Cheetah Woods PGA Tour 10 and banned from Wii play. This man Tiger is without honor.
-Wii remotes shall NEVER be thrown. Such is the code of the warrior.
-Standards of hospitality dictate that anyone hosting a Wii party provide enough AA batteries to keep all Wiimotes functioning throughout the party’s duration.
I think that’s a pretty good start. What rules would you add to the Wii Honor Code?

Here's a question... a friend of mine had a sword for his controller that was a huge pain because it blocked the infrared sensor on the remote. It made it impossible to navigate around menus and basically use the buttons while the blade attachment was on. Does anybody know if this is the same way?

Ricky, the samurai sword attachments do not block the IR sensors on the Wii remote. You never have to take it off! And really, who doesn't want to drive a Mario Kart with a katana?

There is something fascinating about science. One gets such wholesale returns of conjecture out of such a trifling investment of fact.
