Today’s deal has pretty much every electronic feature you can ask for crammed into one device.  It reads e-books like a Kindle, it snaps photos like a digital camera, it plays mp3s like an iPod, and it plays mp4s like an, uh, iPod.  If that weren’t enough, it’s got a dictionary and a voice recorder.  It’s an all-in-one steal for $32.99.

My favorite feature on this little thing, though, is that you can download NES emulator games and play them on the 2.5-in. LCD screen.  Now, I haven’t bothered keeping up with the modern portable gaming systems.  But I can probably still beat Nintendo’s “DuckTales” without losing a life.  Whose bus ride wouldn’t be improved by playing a few rounds of “Double Dragon II” or “Contra?”  When my digital media player arrives, I’m not sure which game I’m going to download onto the device first.  Maybe “Super Mario Bros. 2.” Maybe “Paperboy.”  Maybe “Cyber
Stadium Base Wars.”  With 791 games produced for the NES, there are going to be a lot of titles to choose from.
What’s your choice?
