Every man remembers the first tool set he ever got.  For some of us, it was a plastic set of Playskool hammers and pliers; for others, it was a big steel chest of sharp and dangerous toys from Craftsman.  I remember all too clearly being rushed to the emergency room as a kid after whacking a hunk of pine into my eyeball while playing with a hand drill my grandmother thought would make a great gift when I was five years old.  I didn’t receive any more tools for a few years after that.
