Ricardo had tried all the exercise fads: Tae-Bo. Pilates. Parenthood. None of them had helped him achieve the fierce rips and cuts he saw on other guys’ bodies at the gym, though. No matter how hard he hit the fitness trail at the park, Ricardo’s body fat simply wouldn’t budge under three percent. As the frustration mounted, he began to lose his passion for working out. Before he knew what was happening, Ricardo was spending a lot less time perfecting his body and a lot more time watching reruns of "Top Chef."

Ironically, it was on the couch that Ricardo discovered the fitness regimen that worked for him. By lifting his massive Jumbo Universal Remote Control with Glow-in-the-Dark Buttons every couple of minutes to flip through the channels on TV, he began to feel the burn. At first, it was only his right arm getting ripped, but by alternating clicker hands, Ricardo really started to get results. His beer gut began to shrink. His man-breasts started to disappear. His hairline even stopped its retreat and began to march proudly back towards his brow. Ricardo settled into a groove by coming up with a routine: He would raise the 1.5 lb. remote to shoulder level and click through 60 channels with his right hand, then pass it overhead to his left hand, which he lowered to shoulder level and used to click through 100 channels. When a set was complete, he would click over to the DVD player and watch a "Three Stooges" short, rest, and check his heart rate. Within four months, the Jumbo Universal Remote Control had helped Ricardo revert to the same size waistline he’d enjoyed in college.
